On December 15th, 2018 on the annual Wreaths Across America Day Civil Air Patrol at Puerto Rico Wing have 225 participants at the ceremony; including nearly 59 volunteers to placed more than 900 wreaths for our fallen military members; all of them showing and committed to the mission to Remember, Honor and Teach.

“This year was a blessed year. We have more wreaths ever since we start few years ago. Our goal to have much more wreaths every year is becoming a dream come true” said Lt Col Ivelisse Peña, Project Officer for the event since 2016. “I have a lot of family members and friends that served and currently serving defending the value of freedom and is our obligation to remember, honor and teach our citizen from all ages the importance of the Wreath Across America”.

During the ceremony held on December 15th, 2018 we had the visit of important guest; thanks to them for their commitment to the Wreath Across America:

We had this year new proud sponsor to the Wreath Across America in Puerto Rico. "We are amazed at the sum we were able to donate to this cause," states Walmart-Puerto Rico Director Public and Government Affairs, Iván Báez. "I know that the Wreath Across America – Puerto Rico are incredibly appreciative of this donation," reflects Báez. "Five thousand dollars can go a long way to help them accomplish their goals, and we know that every dollar will go to wreaths for those military member and continuo in the tradition to remember, honor and teach."

Additional to that members of the Puerto Rico government also contributed immensely by making the difference and donated to the Wreath Across America. The office of the Honorable Carlos “Johnny” Mendez Nuñez (President of the House of Representative), Honorable Thomas Rivera Schatz (President of Senate), Mrs. Maria Van Rhyn and the Office of the Commissioner Resident of Puerto Rico were proud donor of this year Wreath Across America. Our organization is deeply appreciated for your contributions.
