Nashville, Tenn.--The outstanding wing in each region receiving the highest score on its CAP-USAF inspection and evaluation of Search and Rescue and Disaster Relief Mission becomes the recipient of the Search and Rescue and the Disaster Relief Mission Awards.

The Search and Rescue Mission Award winners for 2016, from the Southeast Region was the Florida Wing.

Civil Air Patrol, the longtime all-volunteer U.S. Air Force auxiliary, is the newest member of the Air Forceís Total Force.
